Governing for the Future

The overall goal of this component was to contribute towards an improved understanding of the key elements, conditions and factors affecting governance of marine resources and to explore possible governance options. A central focus was to explore the conditions necessary to achieve the governance transition from compliance to greater reliance on stewardship.
